At the prestigious ELA Awards, organised by the European Logistics Association, the Budvar Logistics Centre was nominated under the top 6 and finally reached the excellent second place.
PORR and Edikt were involved in the construction of the project designed by Atelier EIS. Outstanding elements are a fully automated warehouse for 19,000 pallets and a technologically exceptional bridge connecting the warehouse with the brewery's production section. The bridge is used to transport pallets of finished products and returnable packaging on both sides and is equipped with a monorail.
The project has not only helped to make logistics in the Budvar area more efficient, but has also significantly relieved traffic in the surrounding area.
