Since February 2018, PORR in consortium with M-Silnice has worked on the rehabilitation of the Českobrodská road. Parts of the reconstruction project were the renewal of the surfaces, the change of the replacement of the asphalt-concrete surface course including lowering the gradient and the reconstruction of the footpaths.
Work was carried out in stages in order to maintain the passage through the Běchovice district. Traffic was routed over two temporary bridges and controlled by traffic lights.
Other parts of the project included the construction of three new bridges, five stop roofs and the greening of the entire 2.1km long section. On Wednesday, 25 June, the renovated Českobrodská was ceremoniously taken into operation.
