PORR takeover of ALPINE Bau CZ a.s. finalised

Vienna, 15 November 2018 – In August 2018 PORR announced the signing of an agreement to transfer all of the shares in ALPINE Bau CZ a.s. to PORR. Following the approval of the requisite competition authorities, the closing of the takeover took place.

This acquisition strengthens PORR’s market position in the Czech Republic, yielding key strategic advantages especially in road construction. The company will be fully incorporated into the Group’s Czech subsidiary PORR a.s.

ALPINE Group currently employs around 450 staff, production output in the previous year was around EUR 100m.
