Vienna, 18.12.2018 – On 6 December 2018 the PORR Supervisory Board unanimously voted to appoint Thomas Stiegler as a member of the Executive Board with immediate effect.
“PORR is continuing to expand its international business, extend its production and value creation infrastructure on the home markets, and exploit highly effective synergies in Eastern Europe. I am delighted to have the opportunity, alongside my colleagues, to shape and drive PORR’s growth path through excellence in the operating business in the years to come,” said Stiegler.
By selecting Stiegler to join the Executive Board, PORR is gaining a top manager with a highly entrepreneurial approach, a solid background in operations, and extensive experience in the construction, real estate and PPP business. The 53-year-old will be responsible on the Board for Business Unit 3 – International. Stiegler started his international career at Bilfinger Berger AG (today Bilfinger SE). Most recently Stiegler has been responsible at PORR Bau GmbH for the Arabic region as well as the Group’s activities in Eastern Europe and the countries in Northern Europe.
