Bridge construction is the supreme discipline in the civil engineering field. Bridges have particular significance within our society - they overcome obstacles, valleys or rivers, and connect people and regions. PORR has been operating in this sector for more than 100 years, and during all this time has acquired extensive experience. Our bridge construction services include the new construction and renovation as well as the demolition of all types of bridges - reinforced concrete bridges, concrete bridges, stay-cable bridges and prefabricated bridges.
In 2013, PORR applied a completely new demolition method for the first time in the Czech Republic. It enabled a motorway bridge to be completely demolished and removed in a single night. This method is now used by all the other Czech construction companies as well.
